The Concord Mugs

In this shape, the Concord mugs are those with the speckled paint while the North Shore mugs are solid in color.  These have also been referred to as “ruffle-footed”.  The handles are also unique, and actually look like a smaller and upside down version of the Camelot handle.  These mugs will stack but because of the risk of chipping one of the extended flutes of the base, you’d want to be careful about it.

The Concord mugs are really quite pretty up close, probably due to their delicate coloration.  These date to the 1970s.

Two of the North Shore colors

A set of 4 Concord mugs.  I think these are all 4 colors that were available.

The Maw and Paw Come Git Yer Coffee mugs are advertising mugs for Florida.  The girl on the horse is one of several in this theme that were available and also used by the Federal Glass Co.   This mug is one of the genuine later period Fire-King mugs that is unmarked, only one of two that I have seen.
