King Mug Photo Gallery
For these mugs you
may see more than one name. These are taken from Anchor Hocking or
Fire-King books as well as flea market tags, Ebay listings and a few I’ve
made up myself. They are graded from A-F for rarity and collector
interest. “A” mugs are those most prized by collectors. “F”
mugs are those that hold little or no collector interest or value, though
they may be desired for utilitarian purposes or for an advanced collector
merely to have it all. These “F” mugs can be purchased at almost
any time for very little money so why spend your hard-earned money on these
when you can save up and get a more desirable example? An “A++” mug
will be the absolute must have for an advanced collector and it will easily
fetch more than $200, possibly several multiples of that. “B” and
“C” mugs will also be desired by most active collectors.
This grading system is my
own and should only be used in conjunction with other research and resources
when contemplating a purchase or sale. I’m not responsible for your
buying and selling mistakes, nor do I benefit from your treasure finds
or your customer’s remorse. I am happy to offer my thoughts on the
value of your mug AFTER you have done your homework (checked books and
Ebay). Enjoy the pictures but remember I retain all copyrights to
them. You may print, but not use them for any commercial purpose.
Here are some of my 500+
mugs for you to enjoy. Some will be listed in my Ebay store so check
the link to the left often for the mugs I am offering for sale. These
are arranged by topic or theme as follows:
